🇺🇸 A HISTORIC MILESTONE FOR USA FREESTYLE SKATING!

For the first time, a full U.S. Roller Freestyle Team is preparing to represent our country at the @worldskategames in Asunción, Paraguay.

This moment belongs first to the athletes. Their talent, dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to freestyle skating.

Congratulations to the 2026 USA Team:
@erictheshred
@airingates
@wake2skate22
@montre.livingston
@jeffdalnas
@rollerstreet_miami
@lauric_picard
@jessycosttaaa
@nelmartin
@_frankymorales

But this milestone did not happen overnight.

It was built by the organizers and communities behind the incredible events that have continued pushing USA freestyle skating forward, often without major sponsors, media coverage or outside recognition. They kept building, creating opportunities and giving skaters a place to compete, meet up with the friends and push each other when it would have been much easier to give up.

NISS is proud to partner with:
@crowderpowerbladecomp
@captainsofconcrete
@windycityriot
@brooklynbladecomp
@metrocardclassic
@vertbeque
@oklahomashowdown
@milehighbattle
@texasbladeclassic
@fminvitational
@tapstitch
@elev8tionfitness
@usarollersports
@decentralized_pictures

We have a few more BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS for the 2027 season.

World Skate has now acknowledged the importance of having a U.S. team participating in its official events—and the hard work happening behind the scenes to connect the history and legends of NISS with the modern standards of international competition.

This is more than one competition. It is the beginning of a new chapter for freestyle skating in the United States.

To every skater and every event that refused to give up: this moment belongs to you. 🇺🇸🌎

NEXT STOP: ASUNCIÓN, PARAGUAY. 🇵🇾

After the @captainsofconcrete event we linked up with an all star group of skaters that included some ATL legends to session this legendary Atlanta street spot where one of the first rails to ever be grinded was done on inline skates AND where 3 grinds were invented. Check out the CapCon episode on our YouTube channel to peep the session and learn a little history about inline skating.
