We made a storm inside our studio—and wrapped the shoot in just seven hours.

For Badass Automotive, we controlled the light, rain, car, and talent, then used virtual production, practical effects, and AI to bring the story to life. AI helped us extend shots, create visual effects, and even add a new shot after the client saw the cut.

From the first idea to the finished film: 30 days.

This is the future of storytelling we’re excited about—big ideas, more creative control, and new ways to make stories people actually want to watch.

Huge love to the crew who made it happen.

HOUSTON! 🎬✨We’re proud to be an official partner for the ABFF Pop-Up Houston Kickoff Mixer as the American Black Film Festival (@americanblackfilmfestival) brings its Pop-Up experience to Houston for the first time.

We’re teaming up with Captiv Studios (@captiv_studios), our presenting partner, for a night of intentional networking, meaningful connections, specialty cocktails + mocktails by Key Kocktails, great music and even better energy as we kick off a full weekend celebrating Black cinema.

Then, November 7–8, ABFF Pop-Up Houston takes over Regal Edwards Houston Marq’E with award-winning independent films, industry masterclasses, filmmaker conversations and special guests, including Larenz Tate.

Cameras. Cars. Motion. Noise.

A little BTS from a RED cinema workshop in Houston a few years back.

Virtual production was the playground.
Live is where I’m headed.

More movement. More adrenaline. More moments that are real.

Just getting started.

If you’re in DFW and putting on events like this, hit me up. I’d love to be in the room.

From community screenings to filmmaker development, Houston is watching what we’re building. 🎬🖤

Black Cinema Club HTX was featured in the Houston Chronicle this morning.

What started as a vision to create more access, resources and community for Black filmmakers in Houston continues to grow.

We’ve always said the goal is to BUILD OUR OWN HOLLYWOOD right here in Houston.

Through the BCCHTX Film Academy, we’re putting resources directly into the hands of emerging filmmakers and helping create a pipeline for Houston creatives to take their stories from our city to the world.

Huge thank you to Jamil David and the Houston Chronicle for taking the time to tell our story and highlight our filmmakers, our team and the work being built here in Houston.

Read more through the link in our bio or at Chron.com.

The pipeline is being built. And we’re just getting started. 🖤🎬

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

You were raised in America. Your family is here. Your child is on the way.

Then you’re deported to a country you never knew as home.

Would you accept it — or risk everything to get back?
