The other day at Black Eats Fest… 📸✨

Good food, good people, good energy; and of course, my camera was there to capture it all. 😂

From the food being served to people enjoying every bite, these are the moments that made the day.

Were you there? 👀 You might just spot yourself.

A day filled with creativity, community, and of course… cake. 🍰✨

Had the opportunity to capture a few moments from the Cake Picnic Tour at Greenwich Park. It was such a beautiful event, with so many incredible cake creations and talented bakers all in one place.

A special shout-out to the founders, @saltedrye and @cakepicnictour for bringing this experience all the way from the US, and to @renikegraceevents for coordinating such a beautiful event. 🤍

Here are just a few moments from the day. 📸

4 Ladies. 1 Goal. Learn how to sew…
And that they did! 🥳🧵

It was so exciting seeing these ladies put their new skills to practice and do it so exceptionally well. Each of the ladies had a pre-cut blouse pattern in a cotton fabric with a facing to test their abilities. I shared with them that my university tutor said that one thing many people struggle with is sewing in a straight line and I believe each of the ladies got to see just how seemingly basic yet important this really is!

No crooked shoulder seams over here 😅

The May Taster Class is gone but keep an eye on the page for our next set of classes in July. See you at the next one?

I love motorbikes. There is something about them which gives them such a cool aesthetic. But one bike I love above all else is the classic Harley Davidson . Whenever I see one pass me in the street I stare in awe.

One day maybe I would love to learn to ride one. Only so that I could add that to my skill set and maybe get cast in a similar programme to Sons of Anarchy. Defo feel like I could portray a biker's girl or a sister dating a rival biker gang member.

Beauty and The Beast was one of the first shows my parents took me to see as a young girl. It was such a treat and I just remember it having this elegance to it.

The disney movie adaptation went on to become one of my favourites and my all time favourite Disney princess still today is of course Belle. I grew up wanting to own a library like the Beast had in his castle and like Belle have a love for reading. Honestly I can't even have all the books I own out on the shelf as my room is too small.

One day I hope to have a library of my own. Probably not on the same scale as the one from Beauty and The Beast but a good size and maybe with a window seat.

What is your favourite fairytale theatre adaptation?

Ladies today’s a new day! For those who voted “yeah😭” on yesterday’s story I’m challenging you today to take that step in protecting your peace & practicing saying no.
•
I’m learning that it doesn’t have to be a harsh or aggressive no, with a long explanation it can be a simple “I would rather not” or literally “no I don’t want to” you don’t owe anybody anything.
•
If you find it as daunting as I do it’s helpful to craft gentle but wise responses ahead of time so you won’t cave under the pressure of the moment or react out of anger.
•
Remember, you’re doing this to preserve your peace so that you don’t wind up aggravated and bitter because you’re doing something you wish you had said no to. Resist the urge to explain or defend yourself. The more you explain, the more ammunition you’ll give them to protest. A simple no will do. No apology. And don’t make up an excuse. That will just beg other questions that will bait you right back into defending and explaining.
•
Have a blessed & peaceful day ♥️
