On May 9th at 10am I’ll be graduating from Clayton State University
Graduation always felt so close, yet so far away,but I made it. Through the hard seasons, the long nights, the tears, and the moments I wanted to give up… I kept going. And today, I’m standing in it. I am so proud of myself.

This institution will forever hold a special place in my heart 🧡💙 — it didn’t just educate me, it shaped me, stretched me, and introduced me to a version of myself I’m so grateful to know.

Most of all I THANK GOD ! Only he knows the hard times, the tears shed, and prayers I’ve said in this last year. Through him everything is possible nothing I’ve done has been without His strength pulling me through to the finish line. To my fellow grads and college student don’t forget to put God in the center of you life and watch how He moves mountains on your behalf !✝️

Every title, every role, every opportunity—God placed me exactly where I needed to be, and I gave it my all every single time.

My work here is DONE… and what a beautiful journey it has been. 🥹

Being an RA these past two years has truly been one of the best decisions I made at Clayton State. Every resident, whether you were in my building or just passing through my hallway you became a part of my journey, and I hope I was able to be a small, positive part of yours too. 🫶🏾

To my EmpowHER girlies… you will forever have a special place in my heart. My very first residents and definitely the most unforgettable. Thank you for trusting me, growing with me, and allowing me to step into who I was becoming. I’m always here for y’all, no matter where life takes us 🩷

And to my coworkers… whew, thank y’all for dealing with me 😭 it wasn’t always easy, but I truly couldn’t have asked for a better team. The laughs, the busy days , and the memories. I’m going to miss y’all more than anything.

This chapter meant everything to me. Forever grateful 🤍

In just 10 days, I’ll be closing such a special chapter of my life. 🥹✨

These past three years at Clayton State have shaped me, stretched me, and helped me grow into who I’m becoming. I’m so grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and especially every person who crossed my path and poured into me along the way.

Thank you for being part of my journey and guiding me toward my success. I’ll carry it all with me into this next chapter. 💙🧡

Pathway to Purpose Recap 🎯
 We see the value in developing the youth of Clayton County and we hear the need for access. Access to leadership skills, real-world knowledge, and opportunities beyond the classroom.

During the summit, students were equipped with essential tools, including:
 ✨ Email Creation & Etiquette ✨ Personal Branding ✨ Resume Building & Understanding Skill Types ✨ LinkedIn & Professional Networking

This work is bigger than one session. It’s about partnering with our community and ACTING when support is needed. Together, we can equip our youth to lead with confidence and purpose.

Our hope is to continue reaching more Clayton County high school students and we’re just getting started.
