March was difficult to say the least…

Finding out that I might have to have another back surgery was definitely never in my plans. My spine is fused, so it was never supposed to move.

At the beginning of this prep I told God it was all for him. There’s a reason that I’m finding out this information while I’m in prep. I have a bad tendency of trying to mask my emotions with all kinds of things, in prep that is not an option.

The easy thing would have been to give in and give up on my prep. I could have hid myself from the world & wallowed in self pity. But I’m stronger than that. Prep is a super cool experience because you are challenged to grow and evolve. So here I am growing & evolving.

At first I was terrified of another SPINAL surgery. Now I’m just giving it to God, praying for best case scenario, and trying to help as many people as possible in the waiting.

With God & good people around me I’m going to be just fine🥰

The Chameleon
#alex_lewks

@chloeramirezphoto recently posted and asked what we love about ourselves. The first thing that came to mind was that I feel like a chameleon of sorts. Growing up, we moved around A LOT. New school, new people, new homes. I had to learn to quickly adapt to my surroundings. As an adult it has really shaped who I am and why I am the way that I am. I can get along with just about anyone and am able to easily make conversation. It’s a positive and a negative for sure but I just make sure to keep looking forward. So, what do you love about yourself?
