I spent the whole of last week being paralyzed by the news. I knew I had to do something. I didn't know how to help. Then it hit me, cooking is cathartic for me. Serving food to people and watching them enjoy it is an unparalleled joy. So, I decided to start small and send home cooked, comfort food to COVID positive people quarantining at home.

Then @tanikelladeepthi entered the picture. She is one of the most resourceful people I know and within 24 hours we had a webapp developed by @srinidy . People like @priya_alagaraj and @aparna_prabu @sharustories joined in and we were suddenly part of something big.

Today we have 53 incredible women and 2 equally incredible men on the platform. We have people from parts of Chennai that sound to me like exotic dishes. We are serving between 50-60 meals per day and that number is only going up.

This is a privilege. This is gratifying. However, going by the trend, we need to be prepared. Prepared for more volume. Prepared for more areas in the city. Prepared to kick ass! So we need you. If you are willing to cook, even if it is one meal every 2 days, reach out to me. We will be your admin managers, you just be the chef! If you wish to contribute in other ways, thank you. Reach out to us and we will figure out a way.
