My siblings and our fams ventured out to Toronto’s major Amusement Park this weekend. It had been over 20 years since I had been on rides at Wonderland, so it was definitely overdue. Loved experiencing the park through the experiences of the girls and my nieces and nephews. We covered most of the rides. But I will have to go back for funnel cake.

Ask any mom and they will tell you how much motherhood has changed them. In each stage there are new blessings and new challenges. Through out them all your support system makes all the difference in the world. The people who pour as much love into your children as you do. Your friends and family who do all the things and show up when it matters. I wanted to express my love and gratitude to my village that has helped with my last baby. Now that Aleeza is in double digits we have officially left a stage behind.
I wanted to say a thank you to my village that helped me and her get through the last decade. All the milestones, and memories we have celebrated together. We did it, I couldn’t have done it without you.

Only people with sisters know how truly invaluable they are. I am definitely blessed in this category, with both sisters by blood and sisters from life. Today is my sister Seema’s Birthday. I have watched her battle more than anyone should have to battle for things we all take for granted. A smile on her face always. Living the best Khala role she never disappoints in. Being the most involved teacher. All while handling each challenge her way. On her milestone birthday I wanted her to remember, you will never be where you used to be, so don’t look back. Keep your head up and follow your heart forward. May Allah keep you healthy and happy always. Ameen.
