The depth of today’s love is the depth of tomorrow’s wound.

Unforgettable moments in Abuja with the fellows of the @boellabuja's Nigeria Green Academy and Dr. Imme Scholz!

Thank you to our incredible alumni for sharing your powerful experiences, inspiring conversations and work in shaping the future of Nigeria. Listening to you reaffirmed what we have always believed: youth are not the leaders of tomorrow—they are the leaders of today.

For Nigeria to truly flourish, we must create spaces and opportunities for young leaders to thrive. 💚

Know any of the #NGA alumni? Tag them in the comments. #GreenAcademy #youthleadership #hbsNigeria @boellstiftung

Open Screen II was a movie. Literally and otherwise.
A packed room, good people, ridiculous amounts of fun and just the right amount of chaos. From the first laugh to the final heist, you really had to be there.

This is what Open Season is about. Good times, great people and nights you actually want to do again 💚

House of Lies sold out (AGAIN) and it was chaos in the best way. 5 killers walked in and 2 made it to the end and somehow still convinced the room they were innocent. Alliances formed, cracked and completely collapsed.

To everyone who showed up and played their hearts out, thank you. You're the reason this keeps growing into something bigger. If you missed this one, you REALLY missed out.

We'll be back. And next time, trust a little less!

Sold out. Shut down. Our biggest ever. Thought we disappeared? No, Jollypalooza just knocked the whole team off the grid 😭 But we're back with the receipts and trust, nothing beats being there. Next stop: BIGGER THAN EVER

Every clip in this video holds a truth we can’t afford to ignore.

From deepfakes to online harassment, digital GBV is no longer “out there,” it’s here, shaping how girls show up, speak up, and stay safe in a world that moves at the speed of a swipe.

These voices remind us that technology can empower, but it can also harm when left unchecked.

And in their words, you’ll hear a simple call: we all have a role to play.

✨ Let’s listen.
✨ Let’s learn.
✨ Let’s build a digital world where girls don’t have to shrink to stay safe.

🌱 Together for climate accountability!

Following our recent 4-day capacity-building workshop, facilitated in collaboration with LQY SPV Limited, CSOs, media representatives, and government agencies have come together to form a powerful coalition focused on improving climate finance, monitoring, and transparency.

Their mission is to track, investigate, and support the achievement of Nigeria's new Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0), which aims to reduce emissions by up to 80% requiring approximately USD 323 billion in financing.

Watch out for this turning point for effective climate governance!

Open Social came, saw, and conquered. The room was buzzing, the energy was unmatched, and every single seat brought the fire. We laughed, guessed, played, conspired, and connected. If you were there, you know. If you weren’t, there’s always next time. Tag someone you’ll invite to the next Open Season event!

Special thanks to our partners @duo_abuja. Can’t wait to run it back

Open Social was a hit and you all brought the heat! It was full of wit, intuition, observation, and conversation, and the room was buzzing. Some played smart, some played dirty but everyone played to win.

Congrats to all our champs! @itsfolashade @iamkolimo @elpaschal @caramel_aj @excelsis__ @ali_vinsane @emokiniovo_omalicha @leckybam @adekunlebaj @_naeelo_

More pics loading… but Seasoners, tell us: did you play clean or get your hands a little dirty? 👀

As the year ends, I feel a little lost. I'm resorting to a good trick, where I just take each day as it comes allowing a natural flow and thinking less of tomorrow because doing otherwise would mean over thinking.

I still look at a piece of paper I wrote at the start of last year, things I wanted to achieve at the end of 2023 and I did achieve everything on that list, but I entered 2024 doing more of vibes & let's see how it goes, no written list, now here we are, me feeling sorry for myself.🥹 That's something I could control.

Others I couldn't, like the ones tied to actions of people outside myself, of having brought a few people too close too fast only to get burnt. 🥹 The error of having held on to some delusions a bit too long before accepting reality.

There's also things I'm wondering about, such as if having been called a workaholic over time by some friends is the truth, because I don't always know what else to do when I'm not working. And wondering if a certain thing in my life that hasn't quite worked out over the years will ever actually work out.

I'm I saying the year was all gloom? Naah! so many things to be grateful for in-between.

In no particular order, here are some people who have made parts of this year beautiful. The ones I've come to see as not just friends but family especially soul sisters & soul brothers. Amina of day1, Khadijah, Ms. Ebele my Nwanyi oma. Ms. Linda - keep soaring. Mary Rose. Chiamaka of life. Desola. Chidaalu. Ego. AJ. Ese. Ajoke B. Ogaga. Ebuka. Malik. Lawson.

My mentors and guides Ms. Sarah. Ms. Mariama. Dr. Ginigeme and Dr. John for your thorough and kind work guidance.🙏🏾

Within the Fam, My Momma, my sister, Elizaa - the Cuz. Sis Sophia. ❤️

To Oyin for being supportive on that side till the end, not leaving me to weather storms alone 😜 The Ezekwesili Twins, Chine and Chuba for embodying positive masculinity and teaching new pathways of experiencing the world.

To everyone who's showed up for me even if not mentioned here, God bless you.

In the Spirit of Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for?

We as a writers family, we are thankful for our lives, we are thankful for growth, we are thankful for the grace of God towards us, we acknowledge that we make mistakes and our mistakes help us grow. We are thankful that we've been able to survive 2020 and all its shenanigans. We are thankful to all our writers for keeping it real and always bringing their best to the table.

We know this is just the beginning of our journey, but we are grateful for all we've accomplished so far.

What are you thankful for? Share with us.
