Bulk of #sanjapan17 day 2

Got to host speedfriending again. Love creating a space for the community to get together. All the appreciation for this panel was amazing. Huge thank you to all our friends that helped coordinate. These things get chaotic.

Earlier in the day I got to participate in the #witchhatateliercraftevent hosted by @weyrdostv . It was an awesome immersed event. We made our own pointed caps and spells. The decor really took it to the next level.

Kaykay pulled a Libra ♎️ card afterwards for fortune telling. This seemed concerning but we dont know why 😅

Jjk photoshoot was packed. Shoutout @feb21kate for hosting.

Lots of selfies and some 🎂

Saturday of San Japan featured two hot dudes! Jogo and Calcifer. Jogo was such a journey and Calcifer is a tough one to carry around all the time, but people get so happy, which makes me happy that I just can’t stop.

Started the day as Jogo at the jjk meetup once again hosted by @feb21kate :) Jogo was so well received and even though I probably scarred my lungs breathing in the fog machine smoke, it was worth it! Had fun meeting with mutuals and new friends! Special thanks to @katkashi_cosplays for the huge amount of help she did for making him. Love you baby!

Calcifer of course was very popular. When we were making him I just thought it was a clever way to cosplay him, but I never imagined he’d get the reception he has. Katlyn said we would have won the hall contest if we entered him, and maybe she’s right, but honestly I don’t really care about contests. I feel like a winner every time I get asked for a pic! That’s my contest :)

Probably gonna put Calcifer on a hiatus for a while. He’s been busy. But Jogo may make another appearance soon! Thanks again @sanjapanofficial! We look forward to this weekend every year!

Day 2 San Japan was one for the books. I was not able to finish Maki but glad I could bring out Choso again, especially with @bexarcosplay 's Jogo! Super proud of the work he did on that mask by the way. I love when we can craft together! Also shout out to him for staying up with me until like 3:30am cuz I got a bug in my bonnet and decided to make a quick blood manipulation prop 😅. It wasn't perfect but still effective lol. Next time....more blood 😆
I think the best part of the day was running into so many familiar faces and taking pics and making reels with friends new and old!

Of course we had to do the Nanami hair pull for @katkashi_cosplays bday 😝 but we barely got that shot since she kept laughing 😂

Got to take my baby girl to round 1 for her bday and spoiled her. She made the best choso and lots of people stopped us for pics! Glad for those that showed up to help us celebrate this amazing woman I get to call mine :) Love you hun!

PS- Yes I sprayed my beard blonde and after wearing the wig I have decided to go full blonde 😝

Had a blast at Round 1 yesterday celebrating my birthday early! Sad most of the JJK merch was gone but I managed to score a Choso coaster and Maki keychain (thanks @caramelcoz 🫶). I did not have the lucky touch but @bexarcosplay won the cutest Fern and Stark figures! I had fun rediscovering my love of guitar hero and learning there was a cool Naruto emblem game! The day was made even better with cosplay. Glad we could put some smiles on the faces of fellow JJK fans. 😊
Thank you so much to everyone that came out to have fun, say hi, and help celebrate with me!

Here are a couple more pics from San Japan as the Falling Devil and Death Devil. The post-con depression is setting in, but I'm looking forward to improving this cosplay and bringing it to the next convention!

[SAN JAPAN 16: DAY 1]

Here's a photo dump of the pics and clips I got!!

Nathaniel was Stark from Frieren and Bree was Testament from Guilty Gear ❤️🖤

Got to meet @acdcrag_rimma and @yume.chii at the ACDC RAG panel! I'm really excited cause we'll be going to Japan soon and was planning to go to their location there ^__^

Umamusume meetup was fun and nicely organized! They had a little "guess the uma" game and divided up in teams. Nathaniel's team won 3rd place and he got a prize!

It was my first time going to a maid cafe at a con and it was very cute and sweet! Thank you @milkpinkmaidcafe
for the fun experience!

Also my yearly photo of recreating the testament eating sandwich/burger photo that @/morskisir on Tumblr drew, this time with the added 6P to your face.

Also pleasantly surprised to find Tenchi Muyo stuff since we have been watching it for funsies with friends :]

👨‍🍳 Falling Devil & Lil' D 🍜

I had a fantastic time as the Falling Devil, and I loved everyone's reactions to it, but holy moly was it a crunch. I spent so much time planning that I had to throw it together in like 2 days, so I definitely want to make the arms more realistic by next time, get them into the right position under my chin, and hopefully next convention I won't get the pose wrong in LITERALLY EVERY PICTURE I TOOK! 😭😭😭
