My 5th and final @cardandcream mag :,)

Release day is always the most joyful time, but this one was super bittersweet. I’m soaking up these last couple of weeks with Cardinal & Cream! I’m so proud of our spring mag, and so immeasurably grateful to have been a part of five mags. I just love being Editor-in-Chief. I’ll miss making these mags forever!🤎

Last week Friday, the Cardinal & Cream, Union's student-run newspaper, released their spring magazine outside the SUB. With @mempops there to hand out their signature popsicles and the Cardinal & Cream staff in attendance to distribute the new magazines, it was a release day to remember!

"In this issue of the Cardinal & Cream, we reflect on restoration: what gives us life, what brings us rest, where we experience renewal. It is a little on the nose that this is the Spring edition, the season of restoration. Life springs back from death as buds start to blossom on trees again. But of course, every story we tell serves to point back to the greatest story of all: the Gospel. It is the ultimate story of perfect and complete restoration." Margee Stanfield, Cardinal & Cream Editor-in-Chief

If you missed out, you can still grab a magazine from the red boxes across campus, or read it online through the link in Cardinal & Cream's bio!

We hosted a Patio Pop Up with Cardinal & Cream to celebrate the spring magazine release.
We had specialty frozen treats from MemPops and they are so good. 😋
Thanks to all who came by! ☀️🥳

SEJC 2026🤎

When I left SEJC last year, I was determined to return the next year and place in the best mag category for the first time in two years. I spent so much time strategizing and planning how to make that happen after that. After months of prep, my staff and I worked for several more months to make that vision and dream come to life. I have never been as proud of nor worked harder on anything as the @cardandcream fall mag. To win 2nd place for Best Magazine of the South means the world. Also pretty cool to place for my piece on my room from the mag too. I am so grateful for these awards and for a wonderful getaway with my amazing staff! Thank you Jesus for blessings like these!!

@cardandcream I love you forever. Being Editor-in-Chief is such a joy and privilege.
