I was only supposed to run 38 miles. 😂

38 miles for my 38th birthday. That was the goal.

14 runs, my first 5K, several negotiations with the Lord and my lungs later…

47.77 miles. 🙌🏾

But one of my favorite parts of this challenge was realizing how much easier it is to get the miles in when you have people around you putting in the work too.

Shoutout to everyone who came and ran with me, Da Ville Athletics and Pace Culture for some of these miles and a whole lot of motivation.

Who you’re around matters.

Their pace doesn’t have to be your pace.
Their goal doesn’t have to be your goal.
But being around people in motion will challenge you to keep moving.

38 miles for 38 years turned into 47.77.

I’ll take it. 😂

38 looks good in motion.
