Over the last year, we’ve had the privilege of shaping digital homes for directors, cinematographers and moving image makers. In a creative landscape increasingly shaped by AI, these sites feel especially important. They are a reminder of the eye, instinct and authorship behind work with depth, rhythm and feeling. Anthony Carella’s site already had strong bones. Our role was to refine what was there, reshaping the CMS into something clearer, more intuitive and easier to manage. A more seamless backend for a growing body of work. Brian Petchers wanted the work to speak for itself. So the site became a clean canvas. Minimal, monochromatic and deliberately restrained, with colour, movement and feeling coming from the work itself. For Parable Lightworks, our focus was the build: bringing their stories and the feelings they evoke to life with precision, flexibility and enough restraint to keep the work front and centre, guided by a quiet sense of the wonder these stories were built to reveal. Scott Perry’s portfolio needed to carry more than the work. It needed to carry his point of view. The site brings personality through typography, giving the portfolio its own rhythm without taking attention away from the films themselves.
