One of the really cool things about modding knives is that I get to try all kinds of knives I normally wouldn't be able to. Some of them have been on my radar for ages, like this @careyblade 50/50 Midtech...Man this would match my Gordo perfectly... Mod List: Flipper Delete, Studs, Acidwashed Blade, and monochrome timascus overtravel/stabilizer disc(was the stock blue-ish heat color)...I really want one, and I do exactly the same thing to it haha...Lovely piece... #qualitydump #petercarey5050 #usamadecustomknives #paullmightmods #paullmightmodyourshit

Peter Carey Tory with Timascus and Mother of Pearl. Check out the bolster to scale treatment, very cool transition, a rare configuration. Available at Knifeology. #bestknivesofig #petercareyknives #grailknife #knifecommunity🔪 #bladelife

Action time! Beautiful Peter Carey Scion with a signature double click action. This particular one is quiet but has a satisfying feel. Very easy and smooth to open and close, the type where you can hand it to a newbie and they can flick open. 10/10!

🔥 Scion by @careyblade 🔥

This piece is beautifully and expertly executed by the legendary Peter Carey, a folding knife maker that came before most makers today. He's been making killer flippers and continues to impress! The Scion is one of my favorite models from Peter, the blade shape, frame and overall design blends in beautifully together to form an agressive looking folder. Peter always colors the material so beautifully. The black timascus is vibrant even in bad lighting, and doesn't smudge easily maintaining the beauty. The matte finish on the zirconium bolster is also another work of art with beautiful soft eggshell finish. The blade is stunning with deep blacks and pronounced etching showing the beautiful Damascus lines. this model also has a perfect action, easy to flip open even by someone new to the hobby while making sure it is rock solid. You really knocked it out of the park!
