I was the daughter who rolled my eyes at my mom as a teenager.
I was the woman who cried at every negative pregnancy test and wondered if I would ever be able to have children.
I was the mom overwhelmed by diapers, crying, sleepless nights, and three little kids needing me all at once.
I was the mom who made mistakes, lost patience, and felt like I wasn’t enough.
I was the mom who had cancer and wondered if my kids would have to go through the pain of losing their mom.

And now…
I want to be around my mom as much as I can! 🥰🙌
I’ve seen dreams birthed and miracles happen.✨
I look at three amazing grown children and feel overwhelming gratitude to God.🥹
I’ve experienced healing. ❤️

Never underestimate what God can do!
The season you’re struggling through may become the testimony that encourages someone else.

To the weary, grieving, praying, waiting, rejoicing…Happy Mother’s Day!💕🥂

And to my mom who has always been the 👸 queen, I’m sorry for the years I didn’t realize you had WAY more wisdom than I did. 😂 You are the BEST!🥰 @carin.roy

Highlights from ASSISI!!!

• Probably one of our favorite moments from our trip was staying with Stefania and getting cooking lessons from her! We could not recommend @pastaalpestocookinglessons enough! 👩🏼‍🍳🍝
• Exploring the city of Assisi — We went into some beautiful churches ⛪️ shopped in local stores 🛍️ and had an amazing wine tasting @cantina_di_filippo 🍷
• I met a lot of local kitties, which made me so happy 😻
• Luke was our sommelier while we soaked in family time and ate lots of 🥖 + 🧀!

✨ ATHENS COMMUNITY CHURCH ✨ Women’s Breakfast + Fringe Workshop.

“Those who trust in the Lord lack no good thing.” Psalm 34:10

ATHENS COMMUNITY CHURCH • Women’s breakfast.

What a delight to spend the morning with these incredible ladies! They came with child-like faith and created the most beautiful tassel bookmarks. At the end, we prayed over a ☀️sun-shiny tassel for a dear sister who fears the Lord and knows that the “Sun of righteousness will rise with healing in his wings”.(Mal. 4:2)

📿Tassels help us to remember important principles. (Numbers 15:40) For example:

“Lack” is a lie when we encounter Jesus. The truth is, the Kingdom of God is rich in everything we need. There are endless resources in the treasuries of Heaven.

Praise God for Psalm 34:10 - it reminds us that “those who trust in the Lord will LACK NO GOOD THING.”

The ‘woman with the issue’ pressed toward Jesus, full of faith in His ability to meet all of her needs. Like a child, she believed in something she couldn’t yet see. In one instant, as she touched the fringe of his robe, she encountered the Kingdom of God, and was made whole. 🙌

•STREETS of GOLD•
in memory of Uncle Bob

One of the kindest men I knew is now riding on the streets of gold in Heaven.

This Bible was designed as a family gift for his wife, our sister and aunt Tammy.
•
Uncle Bob loved the Lord, his family and wheels, in that order.
He and Tammy traveled many miles on their Harley’s, 🏍️discovering God’s beautiful creation.
They traveled many joyful miles with children, grandchildren, and grand-pets, making beautiful family memories.
They traveled the pains of cancer.
And now Bob has reached his final destination. He is home and whole in Heaven, where the gates are made of pearls, and there’s no more pain.
I have to wonder, when he got his new, glorified body, if he also got a new gold bike to ride on those streets of gold?
I imagine he will no longer need a helmet, but gets to just breathe in the air of Heaven.

I pray this Bible is a tangible reminder and healing balm for Tammy. As she sees the gold cover and touches the fringe, may the God of all Comfort wrap her in His perfect love, timeless Truth and beautiful promises. I pray she smiles as she sees the charms and imagines Him taking the perfect ride on those streets of gold.

The song “Hymn of Heaven” played at his memorial service. What a reminder that this life is a vapor. Heaven is our home. I’m looking forward to one of the best family reunions ever, when we all get to stand face to face with our Divine Creator, and sing “Holy is the Lord!”

Today is our 30th anniversary. The kids know how much I cherish memories and gave me this beautiful gift of family pictures. We finally found a day where we would all be together, but the weather was threatening to ruin our fun. We pressed on, and AFTER the storm, the most beautiful rainbow appeared. We danced under it. My heart is still dancing under the goodness of God as I’m reflecting on the 30 years of “storms” that have threatened to dampen or damage the legacy of Kingdom family. Over and over, God would prove himself faithful. His promises (found in His Word) are always on time. I’m so grateful for the umbrellas of prayer and steady support our parents have been. I’m reflecting on the patience and compassion of God as Rob and I have stumbled and slowly learned (we are still learning) how to receive His perfect love, stand on His promises, wait on His timing and love/live like Jesus when it comes to our marriage, parenting our kids, and even now, as we upgrade to grandparents! 🥰🙌 When God speaks a word, it will come to pass. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give life to the FULL. May we all remain in the fullness of His love and faithfulness and watch His Kingdom come and will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven. 🌈

My mom taught me to see and appreciate the beauty woven into everyday life. She is filled with the Spirit of God to create and everything she touches is golden. She nurtured in me a love for all things artistic, and meaningful—whether it was through music, painting, gardening, decorating, or simply noticing the little things. I still hear her soothing, deep alto voice singing harmony next to me in church. I cherish the times we have walked the beach looking for beach glass and beautiful rocks. I am so thankful for the hours she poured into making our house a home, from her amazing fresh dinners to the fancy floral wallpaper she hung in the dining room. She instilled in me a love for antiques, the worn edges and the memories they hold. She is beyond gorgeous, but her beauty runs much deeper. She carries a quiet, steady wisdom—one that doesn’t come from the world, but from time spent in prayer and in the Word of God. So many early mornings with mugs of dark roasted coffee and highlighters. That truth has shaped her life and gently overflowed onto everyone around her. If you know her, you are blessed.

I’m endlessly grateful and beyond blessed for the legacy she’s passed on—of beauty, of creativity, and of faith.

Love you forever, Mom.💕🌸 Happy Mother’s Day!
