“Nobody has ever done this for me before.”

“This was such a blessing.”

“This came at the right time.”

These are just a few of the words we heard from those who attended our TCC Community Baby Shower, hosted by our Sisters in Seasons Women’s Ministry. 🤍

What an honor it was to give back in this way! We spent a couple of hours celebrating expectant and new moms—playing games, praying together, and giving them the opportunity to select and receive free baby items for their households, as well as win additional baby items through giveaways. 🍼

More than anything, we hoped each mom and dad left knowing just how much they are loved, not only by us, but by our Father in Heaven. 🙏

We are so grateful to everyone who came alongside us to help make this day a blessing to the community. A special thank you to the vendors who provided valuable resources and generous giveaways.

As always, we pray that TCC continues to be:

“A Place Where Love Welcomes You.”

Congratulations to my wife @krystlenadams for writing, director @thelorikee and the entire cast and crew on an amazing production of “To The Unknown Soldier.” It has been inspiring to see how the story has grown from what Krystle initially wrote, to attending a reading of the script, to a full fledged production. Audiences seem to really connect with it. The story is moving and important, at this moment more than ever. It’s taught me a lot about what happened in Europe at that time with the black soldiers. I’m very proud of my wife for all the work she put into this, and can’t wait to see what is next in store for this story or whatever is to come.

Happy 20th birthday Sophia Claire! We can’t believe you have been around for 2 decades. Mom and I are so blessed to call you our daughter. Before you came along I didn’t realize I needed to be a Dad. Keep blazing your path and working hard. It has been so rewarding to watch you blossom into the woman that you are. Sky is the limit. I love you beyond words. ❤️

Although I haven’t presented at any edtech conferences in more than a decade, July I was granted the opportunity to be a keynote speaker at two of them. However, my brother, @team_capers asked me to step out of my comfort zone and help him out for the MRA International #Internetworking2025 Conference. I was the conference’s closing keynote. Here’s a quick clip of my presentation titled “PIVOT: Reimagining Education at the Crossroads of Technology, Character and Purpose”.
