✨Once upon a time the planets and the fates and all the stars aligned…✨ and I was GIFTED a ticket to the Eras Tour in Indianapolis for Saturday! It is not lost on me how unbelievably lucky I am to have seen this show twice. I had a BLAST with the Blackburn/Huffman girls! The day was full of joy, laughter, and 🩷girlhood🩷. KJ - you are the real MVP!

Peep the last picture of my favorite friendship bracelet that was traded to me. Tomorrow is a big day - GO VOTE!!! I’ll be working the polls!

dear 2023,

what a year it's been.
2023 gifted me with some of the sweetest relationships and took away more than I could have imagined. thank you to everyone who has walked with me through a year that has thrown punch after punch my way. rubi, I am especially grateful for you and the time we shared this summer and how our friendship has grown. and emily, you are so dear to me and our friendship means so much to me. <3
I'm so grateful for God's joy that has reminded me to find beauty and contentment in the moments where I had no control. God has reminded me of all the people who care deeply about me and the lengths they will go to serve.
I'm still growing and learning to give him my burdens that can weigh me down, and I'm still processing and grieving all that I've lost, but I head into 2024 with a lighter heart and praise in my valleys for there is so much beauty ahead.

this semester was a gift. a gift that i am completely undeserving of. i’ve been blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful and supportive people.

by no means was the semester easy though. very few things about college are 🙃 and even though there was quite a bit of change to adjust to this semester, God has been oh so faithful.

just as the verse above states, He does not change. and what a comforting truth that is! no matter what season of life we are in, He is constant. even when we are so unfaithful to Him.

i can’t wait to see what next semester holds!

i can’t wrap my mind around the fact that fall a is done. it still feels like i just got back from summer break.

this session had so much that brought me joy.
* sweet friends that i was able to pick right back up with where we left off after a summer of being apart
* omega two and a hall full of some pretty amazing girls 🫶🏻
* worshipping at a school full of other people who also love Jesus
* professors who inspire me to have a love of learning
* not having 8 am classes 🫣
* when calls the heart
* and SO much more.

that’s not to say this session was easy. far from it. it was full of conviction, growth, and learning how to prioritize all that’s on my plate. i haven’t got it figured out, and i’m learning that i probably never will.

but i’m realizing that it’s my failures and shortcomings that cause me to come back to Jesus in repentance time and time again. and for that i’m thankful. He truly does work all things for good. and when i’m hard on myself for not being farther along in many areas, i remember that i will not be made perfect till heaven.

thank you Jesus for your finished work on the cross. thank you that i have nothing to prove. thank you for your love i could never earn. thank you for never leaving me. thank you for choosing to give your righteousness to me. thank you for the Spirit that gives me the option to choose life instead of death. thank you for grace!
