“The door on which we have been knocking all our lives will open at last.” — C. S. Lewis, The Weight of Glory

Every year at @hopeheals.camp , I feel like that door opens just a little.

For these sacred weeks, I catch a glimpse of the Kingdom—a place where everyone belongs, where weakness is met with dignity, where joy and sorrow coexist, and we don’t wait to celebrate. It is not heaven, but it feels like standing close enough to see its light spilling through the doorway.

So thankful for @hopeheals and that we get to carry that hope until one day the door won’t just crack open—we’ll finally step through.

2025 was another good/hard year for the Wolf family. We’re grateful for all it held.

We said goodbye to my 100-year old Big Daddy, my last living grandparent, and welcomed a heavenly baby niece named Millie, AND another baby’s coming any day now from our dear @alxgwlf!

@MENDCoffee celebrated its first birthday—a milestone we don’t take for granted—and my miracle baby John (somehow!?) turned 10.

I shared my message of hope at 35 events around the country, thanks to dear friends turned road warriors. My Wolf boys and I traveled from the tip of south Florida to Canada to Mexico to New York City to London—each trip as challenging as it was cherished.

I interviewed 24 brilliant truth tellers and recorded 33 episodes of The GoodHard Story Podcast. My team spent 4 glorious (and humid) weeks in the Alabama wilderness putting on Hope Heals Camp for about 2,200 people.

We sent some beloved teammates onto their next chapters, while welcoming 3 new people onto the Hope Heals staff. James started his senior year of high school, and I treasured every chance to sit in the front rows of my sons’ recitals, musicals, and chapel services.

Every moment, we were carried by the love and encouragement of friends like you. And now it’s time we all rest!

Every year, God is redeeming my story of suffering more and more through my family, my friends, and my work at Hope Heals. THANK YOU for being a part of that redemption by supporting our mission of making sacred spaces for families experiencing disabilities to experience the hope of Christ. I could not do it without you, and I wouldn’t want to.

If you’d like to send a tax-deductible gift to Hope Heals, comment GIVE or visit the link in my bio.
