4:50:25 ➡️ 4:30:13 | when the marathon finally makes it out of the group chat!!! 42.2K on @carloscorked’s hometown turf with @teedford, and our superhero cheer squad was everything and more!! all sorts of thankful for this crazy supportive, encouraging and down for adventure village of mine 🥹🫶 hasta el próximo maratón 😜💥🇪🇸❤️‍🔥🤪🏃🏻‍♀️💨 21K feelin’ v good and getting energy from seeing friends! ft. emotional support water bottle

apr 2025 snak runs | tak for another good month of runs snakkers! not quite as sunny as other months, but we didn’t let those grey skies stop us :) here’s to hoping april showers do indeed bring may flowers and see you next month for another set of snak runs! 🏃🏻‍♀️💨🌦️🌷🌻

mar 2025 snak runs | our snakkers squeezed in two runs this month with some old faces and welcoming some new & made easier with this month’s sunny weather!! spring is HERE 🌱🌿🌷 and the SRC is ready to keep the good times rolling in the new month - April schedule dropping later today!!

TL;DR ran my first 42.2K in Rome and i wanna yap about it!

what started out as @carloscorked and I hunting for a spring half turned into asking @nicklasorluff if he’d be up for running a marathon on his 30th birthday and suddenly, we had entries for @runrome_themarathon 😅🫨 some shoutouts for the training block and race:
- as always, trust in the training🙂‍↕️
- strength training is non-negotiable🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️
- running through the Vatican will give you chills! In the best way!
- 6K of cobblestones is actually as bad as it sounds 🥲
- grazie to the Italian man who heard me hyping myself up around 30K and saying “forza!!” to me 💪
- simultaneously dissociated and was aware of my body for all 42.2km of this race???
- this right here is my type of party!!! it is so special to share this hobby with loved ones and be able to go through all the ups and downs of training/the race together

finally, big big shout to the friends and fam who hyped me up from afar, to @carloscorked and @nicklasorluff for saying YES to this adventure and @teedford and @izzzbelle for being the absolute MVPs and zipping across Rome to cheer us on 🥹👏📣🍌💛

that’s it for now - if you see me hobbling around, it’s because i haven’t foam rolled and stretched as much as i should……that’s a lesson i’ll learn the next race ;)

feb 2025 snak runs | a (short) month in review! two snak runs for the second month of this year, with @erika.ott & @lau.ren.8 kicking us off with a cozy første sunday 5’er and then following it up with a snowy 7K rundt søerne! tak for denne gang snakkers og vi ses næste gang - march schedule dropping tmo!!

05 + 12 jan snak run recap | sub zero temps didn’t keep these snakkers from running (or winter bathing) this month!! The SRC kicked off 2025 with a couple of snak runs ft. one very cold (but hyggeligt!) cold plunge 🥶 we’ll be back in feb with more runs, maybe some winter bathing, and definitely more snak & snacks 😊🏃🏻‍♀️💨

17 nov snak run | blue skies, sun and chilly temps greeted the SRC for today’s 5K tur around the lakes ❄️☀️ the morning km’s, snak, and snacks left our snakkers feelin’ v v glæde !! tak for i dag og ses næste gang - december schedule coming soon 🤗📆
