150 years of the Bayreuth Festival! 🥳 I can only say this sentence two more times in my life, but this summer I finally got to say it again: “A new Wagner opera for me!!!” 🥹

And for the first time: Rienzi. WOW. What an experience — and yes, apparently Wagner CAN write ballet music!💃🏻

Plus Der fliegende Holländer with two different casts, a musically magnificent Götterdämmerung, and the dress rehearsal of Siegfried.

What a Bayreuth summer! Danke! @wagnerfestival @taff.wir.sind.festspiele @wagnerfreundschaft

„To go to bed at night in Madrid marks you as a little queer. For a long time your friends will be a little uncomfortable about it. Nobody goes to bed in Madrid until they have killed the night. Appointments with a friend are habitually made for after midnight at the cafe.“
