Amazing day in the archipelago with @by.relatable and @lundgrens.nikoportioner

The perch was really on the hunt today throwing themself over the new slowly fished bladed jig from @daiwascandinavia

I had the pleasure to trick a 47cm perch in the weed lines. Two fish over 42cm and a double strike of 40s also visited the @busteraluminiumboats

Great food by @carldreyer great company, great work from our guides @gaddjagaren @fsjoblom @bjornsfiske

Big congratulations to @opassande who fished in my boat, claiming the ”Biggest Perch” and the ”Biggest Pike” prize.

📢It's finnaly official. Freeride is in the 2030 olympics!
When I first started competing, the @olympics wasn’t even part of the conversation. Freeride was simply about finding good snow, challenging yourself, and sharing the mountains with people who loved the same thing.

Seeing freeride become part of the Olympic Games in 2030 is something I honestly never thought I’d witness. There were already conversations about it a few years before I stepped away from the Tour, but most of us kept our expectations realistic or just ambivalent. Towards the end, though, it started to to sound like it might actually happen.

I’ve been lucky enough to spend 15 seasons on the Freeride World Tour. It gave me friendships around the world, unforgettable memories, and eventually even introduced me to the woman who became my wife and the mother of our two boys. The sport is amazing in all of its shapes and forms and its so much more than the skiing.

The Olympics won’t define freeride. Our sport existed long before organized competition, and it will continue to thrive beyond it. But it will give a new generation of riders something extraordinary to dream about, and that’s worth celebrating.

A huge congratulations to everyone at @freerideworldtour who has worked tirelessly behind the scenes for years to make this happen. This has been decades in the making, and it’s the result of an incredible amount of passion, persistence, and hard work from so many people.

Maybe one day my boys will dream of standing in an Olympic start gate. Maybe they won’t. Either way, I hope they fall in love with the mountains first. Everything else comes second.

Nobox energized the field at @mentalitedor Invitational @brohofslottgc last week. We had an awesome time with all the participants. As you can see. 📸@fotografstrom1977
