A historic house built in 1924. Some delightfully bold design choices. And a loving NFL family making it their own. 🏈

In our special NFL-themed episode of #OpenHouseTV — Home Turf — Tiffany Compton and Taylor Bates of Elliot Tate Design invite viewers into the stunning Roanoke, Virginia home of Houston Texans guard Wyatt Teller — which he shares with his wife Carly and their adorable young children — to show how they dovetailed original character with functional family life.

For example, there’s the Jackie Kennedy-inspired wallpaper in the entry, a 16-ft dining table that’s so heavy it took seven people just to carry it through the front door, and a football-obsessed toddler with a sporty room to match. Meanwhile, down the hall, sister Gigi’s nursery introduces a gentler touch with custom bow curtains and a beautiful bay window.

Care for a tour? Tune in this weekend on NBC! #hometour #roanoke #football #explorepage

🏈 We had a very special guest stop by The Homeplace for supper this past weekend... a player from the Houston Texans!

Now, we can’t officially confirm that our famous fried chicken is the secret to making it to the NFL... but we’re not ruling it out either. 😉🍗

Whether you’re gearing up for Friday night lights, Sunday football, or just bringing the family together around the table, there’s nothing quite like a home cooked Southern meal.

Who knows? The next big athlete, hometown hero, or future NFL star might be enjoying dinner with us tonight.

Thank you, Wyatt Teller and family for spending your evening with us. We can’t wait to welcome you back.

❤️ See y’all around the table soon!

Now Booking Private Pet Sessions! Link in bio☝️In 2011, I started photographing dogs. 15 years later, I’m photographing dogs and dozens of other animal species. I never could have imagined where I’d be at! Here are just a few of my favorite studio dog portrait favorites from the past couple years. I wish I could post 100 here! Thanks to all of who have stopped by the studio or met me on location! 🙌🐶📸

Cleveland pet photographer. Studio sessions, on-location shoots, commercial pet and animal photography — dogs, cats, and whatever else walks (or hops, or slithers) through the door. Sessions are personality-first, always. Inquire via link in bio.
