What a great regular season for the WSSP 6U squad. Our kids definitely put in the work and it showed. The coaches, team moms, and parents couldn't be more proud of what they achieved. Breaking News: I just got an email from the university (and by “got an email,” I mean I totally fabricated this, but stick with me lovely people!). Apparently, in a revolutionary move to boost our brainpower before exams, they’re implementing a new “Learning Initiative” starting... TODAY!

All morning coffee breaks will be a full out dance performance plus all schools will now offer a new degree major for wive, moms and working women in ‘Extreme Multitasking’—a degree that combines ballet, business strategy while balancing on one leg. Don’t worry, it’s all part of a new ‘Empowerment Through Pirouettes’ movement!” Lol Just wanted to shine a spotlight on the some incredible women in my life because baby they are killing the game while fulfilling their dreams. This Saturday we celebrated my mom (Again because she is the true “Xtra” G.O.A.T) and last Saturday celebrating my love of dance with my friends was a true women empowerment movement for sure.

I’m so grateful for the amazing women in my life that inspire me step outside of my own comfort zone to make my new comfort zone.

To all the phenomenal women out there, thank you all for being beacons of hope, resilience, and strength. Let’s keep dancing, learning, and loving every day of the year celebrating the great achievements of our women!

I'm so grateful to the community and level of human connections my past media life created. I'm even more grateful that through my evolutions people have fallen off, but so many have continued to grow with me. Thank you for the prayers you sent my way yesterday. I'm so proud of myself for the level of grounding I've been able to do. I decided not to let my experience ruin Friendsgiving for me, and last night I spent hours laughing, crying, healing with 5 incredible Black women. The safest of places. A space where who you are is celebrated. Where the things people used to tell you to change are applauded. Where not a one ounce of code-switching is necessary. A space where you know you are loved, cared for, held. A sacred space. The way the echos of laughter wrapped me in a hug. I'm grateful for them and I'm grateful for the way I've learned to be my peace even when chaos is wreaking havoc around me. I'm grateful I no longer "why me," instead I feel my feelings and then I ask myself what is this teaching me? How can I grow from this? God didn't make me to break me. This, I Know.
