I met Aaron Carter on Dancing with the stars while joking about being brothers/sisters from another mother. But outside of our joking, he shared parts of his life that he wasn’t particularly proud of and listened intently as I tried to encouraging him. I’m truly saddened by his death. RIP Aaron Carter😢

The idea that the first live gig I accepted since Covid was sung with my daughter fills my heart with an unexplainable joy. I absolutely love her voice. Not because she’s my daughter but because she sings from her soul. And I must say I’m proud. I hope you are blessed by these two songs: “Refiner” and “Eyes on the sparrow” Tim Heintz on piano, Craig Yamek on drums. Although my daughter and I enjoy recording vocals in our home studio for Disney and other notable companies, it was refreshing to be working in the studio again with friends @will_wheaton_real_estate and @therealalvinchea on Scout Willis’ record; Social distancing of course. ( FYI...Scout Willis is Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter who, btw, was nestled in Demi’s tummy when she posed semi nude and pregnant for Vanity Fair Magazine) What a lovely project.

Just completed the last session of 2019 with composer Kurt Farquhar, Oren Waters, Lori Perry & singer/songwriter/producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds for season 2 of BET’s tv series, American Soul scheduled to air in April 2020. Happy New Year from the Soul Train Gang!🌹
