FYC — For Your Grammy Consideration

It’s that time of year again!

To all my fellow GRAMMY voting members, Salvátora, my experimental ambient church organ album with my dear friend Katta, is on the first-round ballot for your consideration in the Best New Age/Ambient Album category.

Recorded last year in a beautiful 17th-century church here in Prague, grateful to have it considered. Thank you🙏🏽

Devastated to hear of the passing of Catherine Ringer.
I was fortunate to spend a lot of time with Catherine & Fred Chichin in Paris while mixing Les Rita Mitsouko’s 1993 album Système D. It was such a special time in my life, & I’ll always remember Catherine’s incredible energy, creativity, humor & presence. She was truly one of a kind.

I have so many wonderful memories of being with the two of them at their home in Louis Blanc in Paris making music, laughing, & just being around their extraordinary creative world. Fred left us far too soon, & now losing Catherine truly feels like the end of an era.

France has lost a true treasure, but the music & art Catherine & Fred created together will live on forever.

RIP Cat. ❤️💔❤️ @catherineringerlesmitsouko @lesritamitsoukoofficiel

Another great night last week at Harmonia Sessions, celebrating the music of Glen Hansard.

Next up: Dominic Miller, longtime Sting collaborator, co-writer & guitarist.

We’ll have a deep listening session, an in-person conversation with Dominic, & a special live performance with his band while they’re here in Prague.

Harmonia Sessions is becoming much more than a hi-fi listening experience. A community is growing around people who simply want to listen together, slow down, & engage in conversation about music.

We live in an algorithm driven society, so once the listening begins, we have a strict no phones, no photos policy. Be present & lets experience it together.

There’s much more to come, live performances, art installations, interviews, deep listening & more.
And if you miss one, it’s okay. Come to the next.

Some things are meant to be experienced, not always documented.🕊️ @harmoniasessions @carmenrizzo

So happy to collaborate with Mexican visual artist Valeria Pazos @valeria_pazosf on this beautiful AI dream video for our experimental church organ album Salvátora with @katta_music_official . I’ve long admired how she weaves philosophy, art, & sensory theatre into her work, so it’s a real honor to finally create something together. Watching The Veil of Armina (The Protector) transformed into her haunting, dreamlike visual world is truly magical. 🙏🏽❤️ @electrofone

What a wonderful night with Julian Lennon for @harmoniasessions . Ahead of the opening of his photography exhibition Mosaic at the Leica Gallery Prague this weekend, we talked about the stories behind his images, his musical journey, & the many paths that have shaped his creative life. An inspiring conversation with a true artist. And we share the same birthday! @julespicturepalace
