Happy International Yoga Day! 💖

Let’s take this day to reflect on what the Yoga Sutras say about a spiritual practice.

A spiritual practice doesn’t have to look perfect to be meaningful…

😮‍💨…it can be a few conscious breaths before a busy day.
📿…it can be a moment of stillness.
🚶‍♀️…it can be a walk without distractions.
🧘🏻‍♀️… it can be a few minutes on your mat.

The real question isn’t: “How much can I do?”

It’s: “Can I come back tomorrow?” 🌱

Remember, Patanjali said that transformation isn’t built in a single breakthrough moment, but through CONSISTENCY, PATIENCE and DEVOTION.

I feel so honored to have lived through this moments with you all.

YTT on film 🎞️

Every April feels very special to me. It’s the time of the year when I feel myself slowly waking up again with spring. And when my birthday arrives, it feels like a reminder that it’s time to bloom 🪷

During the opening ceremony of our yoga teacher training, the card that found me was Santosha. In yoga philosophy, Santosha means contentment - being fully present with where you are instead of constantly chasing the future or comparing yourself to others. It felt like the perfect match with what i was working on and exactly the lesson I needed to compleate.

Somewhere in the middle of those almost three weeks, my birthday happened. A beautiful pause between transformation, movement, emotions, discipline, knowledge and all the little moments that are difficult to explain unless you experienced them yourself.

This training changed something inside me slowly and gently. Through silence, challenges, connection, wonder and commitment, I started feeling more grounded in myself and in the present moment.

And during the closing ceremony, the card that came to me was Parvati. That one touched me deeply. Parvati represents devotion, softness, grounded feminine energy and quiet inner strength. It felt less like an ending and more like being guided into the next chapter - into the way I want to live and into the qualities I felt I was missing, especially commitment.

Now I want to keep learning how to move through life a little more like Parvati, with softness, dedication, trust and peace in my soul. Learning how to grow in my own rhythm, respect my own boundaries and appreciate what exists today instead of constantly reaching for what’s next.

Deeply grateful for the beautiful teachers who guided us through this journey and for every soul I had the chance to meet along the way 🤍 Grateful for this journey 🫧

This last day of my yoga teacher training, I close with a heart overflowing with Love💗

Surrounded by the most beautiful souls, in a space filled with peace and presence, I was gently reminded that loving… and allowing myself to receive love… is one of the purest, most powerful experiences in this world.

My nervous system softened. My heart opened. And somewhere along this journey, I found an even deeper connection with myself.

Words will never fully capture how grateful I am for each and every one of you who walked beside me, shared your energy, your light, your truth.

This wasn’t just a training… it was a transformation.
And I will carry this with me, always 🩵🦋

I had the absolute best day with @carmensounds and her retreat and workshop “Return to the Heart” in NYC. I met Carmen in Costa Rica several years ago and we kept in contact and remained friends. She has guided me through the years with her knowledge, experience, and understanding. Carmen is a phenomenal practitioner and the most amazing human being! The day was filled….Kundalini yoga, breath work, cacao ceremony, estática dance, and most importantly connection and divine feminine energy. I learned so much and grateful for Carmen and that I have the ability to freely travel and pursue my desires.

Thank you beautiful @carmensounds for teaching me that meditation is as much about opening your heart as it is about activating your third eye.

To me meditation has always been an activity done to calm the mind in order to enhance intuition. To allow for downloads, insight, and mystical experiences.

And while I did experience some incredible mystical experiences while meditating with Carmen on the beach here at @cayolevantadoresort
Powerful life changing mystical experiences that will stay with me forever, the most beautiful thing I learned is that meditation can also be a gentle exercise to open up your heart and allow your frequency to raise rather than chase the yogic experience.

Thank you @carmensounds for guiding my spiritual experience at Cayo Leventado, it has been rejuvenating and enlightening. Grateful for your presence and wisdom❤️
