#morninglistening to CarmineMiranda's latest recording of CelloSonatas in which he combs through Russian classics #Rachmaninov & #Shostakovich. The latter a real let down his hair performance.

The Summit is a piece for solo cello that I composed with the guidance of my professor, composer Dr. Kevin Wilt @kevin.m.wilt

This piece is inspired in the journey that many climbers do to reach The Summit of Mount Everest. They risk their lives to reach a specific goal, and many of them loose their lives in the journey.

For me, climbing Mount Everest is a metaphor of life. Sometimes we risk so much to reach specific goals. The importance of the journey is that each step of the way we get stronger and grow spiritually.

It has been one year of creative work and revisions with various professional cellists.

I want to thank professor Jason Calloway from FIU, cellist Carmine Miranda @carminemiranda_ , cellist Shea Kole and cellist Brent Charran @brentcharrancello who in this occasion prepared this beautiful video! ❤🥰🎶🙏

Thank you Brent! It has been a pleasure working with you! @brentcharrancello
