The BERNINA Stitch Regular (BSR) is one of my favorite things about my Q 20! What is the BSR you may ask? It’s the famous function that adjusts the machine’s speed automatically and maintains stitch length. It reacts to the movement of the fabric and keeps the stitches consistent while quilting. Hello! I'm #berninaambassador, @carolasmussen and I will be taking over the @fonsandporter Instagram with @berninausa and my BERNINA Q 20 Sit-down model today! A little bit about me... I'm an architect who discovered textile art and quilting in 2010 in Switzerland. I work with original designs inspired by my artistic background, and also by my travels around the world. As an awarded professional Quilt Artist and Teacher, I've had the honor to see my work in several exhibitions all over the country, as well as internationally. I relocated to the United States to Connecticut in 2016, where I began teaching quilting classes and workshops nationally. My goal with students is to make them able to recognize the strong elements of their own creative work, and highlight tools and techniques to make them improve and grow with confidence in their sewing and quilting journey.

Spooky Hollow by @carolasmussen just launched and we have kits! I’m going to be honest - I’m not a huge fan of Halloween! I just don’t like to be spooked 🤷‍♀️ But I love seasonal decorations, and I love this quilt because it doesn’t actually use Halloween fabrics, just Halloween colors.
