In June, I was honored to have finished as First Runner-Up to Miss Wisconsin. I whole heartedly thought that was my final time on that stage that holds so many memories for me and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t sad or angry at the fact that my dream of serving on the state level wasn’t attainable anymore. Then, just three months later, the Miss America Org. announced an age extension and I trusted in God’s timing and purpose when my gut told me to go for it. I am humbled and excited to have been crowned @misswoodviolet 2018 last night to finish out the Class of 2018!
