ANNOUNCEMENT: National AAU Training Program Returns to Lexington, South Carolina!
This elite training session will be led by the AAU National Director of Training, Jim Fox, a true professional with 19 years of Division 1 college coaching experience. The program was developed in direct response to past criticisms that AAU does not provide effective training for its athletes. This initiative is here to change that narrative—with real, focused, high-level skill development.
Details:

• When: Saturday, October 31, 2026
• Where: Barr Road Sports Complex, Lexington, SC 29072
• Who: Open to boys and girls, Grades 2–8
• Schedule:
• 9:00am–10:30am: Grades 2–5
• 10:30am-12 Noon: Grades 6–8
• Cost: $50.00 for current AAU members / $70.00 for non-members

This isn’t your typical training session with amateur or inexperienced coaches. For 90 minutes, athletes will train under the direction of a former Division 1 high-level coach who has worked with elite talent—including NBA superstar Steph Curry.

The focus will be on developing fundamental skills such as:
• Shooting
• Ball handling
• Passing
• Proper footwork
• Offensive tendencies and decision-making

We will give you a blueprint through drills to improve your game. These are drills you can take with you and use day in and day out to grow every aspect of your performance.
Coach Jim Fox, along with other top-level clinicians, will ensure every athlete receives detailed, professional instruction in an environment focused on real improvement.

Come to Barr Road Sports Complex and get a little better. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to improve and learn from coaches who have worked at some of the highest levels in basketball.
Spots will be limited—secure yours today!

Since we are turning the clock black. Here are throw back photos of @aaubasketball alumni & current @washwizards Khris Middleton @k_mid22 & @aaubasketball alumni & former @clemsonmbb alumni Devin Booker. Both played for @carolinacelticsaau Carolina Celtics with current @carolinaceltics29 Coach Robbie Dreher @robdreher1 . That team had 4 Division I prospects and won multiple South Carolina @aaubasketball State Championships and @aaubasketball National Championship. Roster consisted of

Willis Hall- College of Charleston
Robbie Dreher- Winthrop
Devin Booker- Clemson
Khris Middleton- Texas A&M

The @carolinacelticsaau are rich in history with the AAU in their own right. The program has multiple AAU National Championships, produced high school all-Americans, produced Division I players, & has had NBA alumni play in their program as well. #WeAreAAU #PlayTheRealAAU #AAUAlumni
