Barely enough time!
The best parents weekend
Fascinating lectures by professors, surprising her as she walked out of class, meeting besties and parents of new besties, pumpkin hunting, dessert hopping, historic library tours, morning runs, and the best visit.

Discover The Stacks. I’m so very proud of this “labor of love” and how it turned out. We had a vision, got feedback from everyone from 3rd graders to 80+ year-olds, set and implemented an aggressive yet realistic timeline and plan, received artist submissions from as far as Texas, oversaw a diverse selection committee and so much more. It was worth it all — now The Stacks are a Tallahassee gem while also providing an economic uplift to neighboring businesses.

Located at SOMO Walls, The Stacks is Tallahassee’s newest outdoor art destination—a vibrant collection of 8 larger-than-life murals that celebrate the people, places, history, wildlife, and culture that make Tallahassee unique. Located at SOMO Walls, near Cascades Park.
📍 213 Oakland Ave. Tallahassee, Fla 📍

Painted by talented, professional muralists, each mural tells its own story while contributing to a larger visual journey through Tallahassee’s past, present, and future.

Whether you’re exploring for the first time or returning to see your favorite piece, The Stacks is a place to connect, reflect, and be inspired.

It was such a joy getting to work with this year’s KCCI team and these incredible artists that were selected from a highly-competitive process. Congratulations and THANK YOU to these incredible artists that worked with KCCI and partners to make The Stacks come to life:
Michael Crowne – Wings of Continuum
Myah Freeman – Tallahassee Legend
briteso – King of the Jungle
Sam McCoy & Meghan Mick – Wingbeats Daybreak & Wingbeats Twilight
Taylor Shaw – Statua Libertatis
Amanda VanStratum – Swipe Right on Wild & Game on Gator: Marsh Maze #ihearttally #visittallahassee #Thisiskcci #thestackstlh
