I’m bummed to be missing Thunderstruck this year. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot it every year since it began when I was so, so new to mountain bike photography and Kajay took a shot on me. Not sure she had many options at the time, but I was thrilled.

Four years later and its become such a staple in my summer calendar. Getting to shoot a mix of new and returning athletes every year is such a treat. Its amazing to watch the girls’ talent evolve. Every year the line is unlocked faster than the year before. Every year the energy is different; churning, changing, growing. Its special that I’ve gotten to witness this event every year since it began.

And it’s going to be a great year, I can feel it. I’m bummed to be missing out on shooting along side my fellow 4-year alum @mackhennz. I’m bummed to be missing out on sharing the experience with my stillfasterthanyou dad, who said “holy shit. Those girls are really gonna hit that?” the first time he saw Fort Hill. I’m bummed to be missing out on shooting it, laughing with everyone and drinking too many Redbulls. But I am so, so psyched to see and hear about it later!

Utah was such a good time 🏜️🙂‍↔️ Didn't get to spend as much time there or ride as planned because of flights being cancelled and being stranded in the airport for 2 days and getting 2 hours of sleep in between 😂. Just didn't feel good on the bike. But nevertheless, hanging out with all the homies and watching everyone throw down was all time. GRC was so sick, def have to go back for longer next time, cannot wait 🤘🏽❤️‍🔥
-Also crazy coincidence, we caught my sis & my dad at the airport at their layover to Portugal. Had dinner and a drink with them and fed the soul a lil bit, love you guys 🫶🏽

You already know it’s the best time of the year. All my love to all the sistas, all the mosh, all the hype ❤️ …joining the band has been so rewarding. Castle laps with new girlfriends fills my heart. Seeing the gang thrive is what it’s all about. Asa, Jeremy, Connor, and Aidan….look what you built!!!
