I cannot thank @willdempseymusic enough for allowing me to be part of the Carry the Weight Tour.

I was pretty confident that chasing all this had concluded until Will’s team called. This dream can be a whole lot to keep up with. It can drain you one day and pull you right back in the next…kind of like golf. It’s crazy what a few shows can do to your perspective. All that credit goes to Will, his team, and his fans. There’s a certain moment that the right song, at the right time, in all its glory (including the mistakes), brings people together. That happened a few times at each stop last weekend.

It’s a person taking a video on their phone, singing along to the essential Toby song in each set, and the “thank you for coming” that you say after all is said and done. Whether it’s a singular stream, a like, or coming out to a show, it’s completely and totally noticed. With that being said, the show goes on. We got a long way to go, so we’ll give the long way all we got.
