I’m excited to share that I’ll be covering the Parks & Recreation beat for Reporting I this semester! Over the coming months, I’ll be reporting on public spaces, local events, and land use and the environment across Athens-Clarke County. I can’t wait to dive in and serve the community, as well as grow my skills as a journalist.

I’m so excited to announce I’ll be covering the Parks and Recreation beat in Reporting I this semester! Today I had the incredible opportunity to speak with community members that serve as key people within the Parks and Rec. beat as a part of the bi-annual Beat Meet and Greet. I’m looking forward to learning more about the public spaces of the Athens Clarke-County community.
