It’s taken me a while to finally gather my words, but I think I finally have them…

Nothing about watching this show is easy, and it isn’t meant to be. Everyone is flawed. Everyone tries their hardest and fails at some point. Everyone is a product of circumstances they never chose to be part of.

I hope people take away the desire to listen to each other. We are far more alike than we are different.

Thank you to @channel4 @quaystreetproductions , @nicolanshindler , and @philcollinson for continuing to proudly produce shows that reflect the world as it is, even in the face of rising tensions and apprehension.

To the whole team at @andypryorcasting , thank you for bringing together the safest, most wonderful group of people, who just happen to be exceptionally talented and a joy to be around.

To @alancummingreally and @davidmorrissey , who led us with such kindness and courage: you are shining examples of professionalism, and you’re everything I want to be when I grow up.

@peterhoardirector , thank you for trusting me so wholeheartedly and giving us the perfect conditions to play and create. You are a dream.

And to @russelltdavies63 , thank you for continuing to create worlds that champion people from all walks of life. The heroes you gave me growing up shaped me into the woman I am today. Allowing me to now be one of those heroes is something I’ll be forever grateful for.

To the cast and crew, I love you so much. I wish I could work with every single one of you forever.

I’ve never been prouder to be part of something in my life. This show is stamped on my heart forever. <3

Some people change you without ever trying to.
This job brought me two anchors:

Jen’s quiet warmth the kind that protects you without making a sound.
Working alongside Naima, @funsized_kitty , Emilie, @pilarproduces , @haynarr Fleur, Jonny @bravo_88 and @robbie_r14 helped me stand tall as a woman of colour in this industry. Their presence made space for me to speak up, take initiative, and grow into responsibility.

Babak’s calm! And infectious authenticity are the kind that reminds you to breathe and trust yourself.. and to never play small!

And the Locations team led but the God father of locations @jeanpaulbankesmercer carried a kind of magic of their own. Their energy turned logistics into art ! not just through relentless work ethic, but through the grounded humanity they brought to every moment. @emilyalicegrace @swagsterloc @saul.murphy

These are the connections that outlive the shoot.
