THE BLOCK x CAROUSEL
We started this residency with a few goals in mind;

✅To broaden our community, offering more to our people, something outside of our intimate reformer studio.
✅To take the opportunity to do business with our friends, instructors and long time supporters.
✅Lastly, to pilot a vision of expansion and build a client base for a mat program.

What has been done here is truly inspiring,
The Block is a bootstrap business meaning we fund everything ourselves with no loans or debts. Creative and bold thinking led us to a fresh concept - a Mat Pilates residency that would allow us to host offsite classes, and to prove to ourselves that we could handle an expansion. To do so on our terms and with authentic vision. And maybe, We’re a couple of girls who don’t like playing by the rules ;)

The Block x Carousel was always more than mat classes. @happyhourpilates.slc poured her whole heart and soul into programming progressive classes that built on top of each other week after week. Expanding her offerings beyond studio instruction and events, Into building and managing an entire program. We’re beyond proud of you JB.

It must be noted that none of this would have been possible without Laura’s vision for a space to gather, a space that evolves with each of her clients ideas. Dedicating herself to creating a room of endless possibilities, truly making dreams reality.

The most important thing that’s come from our time at carousel are the friendships, old and new. Every client who bought passes, attended classes, dedicated time to show up - This whole program existed for you and because of you.

While we’re so sad to close this chapter, we know a new one is set to begin 👀✨. With that being said we will be ending residency October 31st, you can still book with us via Mindbody and ClassPass! Any unused passes may be redeemed at our reformer location. We hope that you’ll reach out with any questions!

Xoxo,
The Block
