The Independents vs. The Majors. It’s a dynamic that goes back to the very start of the music industry. The Independents will find a new genre or sound which then gains traction and popularity, and then a corporate entity will come along and buy it. What happens then? Sometimes the indie can retain the essence of what made it special, and sometimes it cannot withstand the corporate pressure. Nervous has always been proudly independent. And that will not change. With that in mind, here’s this week’s clips of (independent) Nervous Records releases being played around the world!
