I am not one to go into a new book with too much speculation / theories but during my re-read of ACOSF, I couldn’t help but think about what Nesta said about Cassian escaping death one too many times. And also considering she is Lady Death, herself! This felt so ominous - SJM, please spare Cassian 😭💗

*this is in Chapter 33- when Nesta, Cassian and Az travel to The Bog of Oorid.

¿No les pasa que les fascina un personaje ultra cuestionable y termina siendo un gusto súper culposo que si existiera en la vida real no podrían aceptar?
Bueno, aquí les traigo mis favoritos 🖤

Perhaps for the lady…

Serve me up a piece of THAT 🤤

Because apparently I have a type, and that type is fictional men who are dangerously attractive, morally grey, completely obsessed with their woman, and just a little bit feral.

Featured:
• Xaden Riorson — The Empyrean
• Pied Piper — Played by the Piper
• Rhysand — A Court of Thorns and Roses
• Archer — The Bookbinder’s Bargain
• Ruhn Danaan — Crescent City
• Samkiel Unirson — Gods & Monsters
• Evander — The Broken Accords
• Rowan Whitethorn — Throne of Glass (art also by @brunojlopez)
• Darien Cassel — House of Devils
• Gavin Smyth — The Selvaren
• Cassian — A Court of Silver Flames
• Luther Corbois — The Kindred’s Curse Saga
• Slade Ravinger — The Plated Prisoner
• The Stranger — Avalon University

Honestly, I could make this list 47 men longer, but I’m choosing restraint today. 🤣

I’m convincing you to read a series each week based on the artwork of the MMC. This week is Lucien Vanserra from the A Court of Thorns & Roses series.

This week we were gifted a sneak peak quote from Lucien from the upcoming release, A Court of Splintered Harmony (I find this title unfortunate.) And I wanted to focus on Lucien, our sweet angel baby. Lucien is so underrated! He is the comic relief of the series. He’s the chameleon that can fit in anywhere with anyone. He has an incredibly tragic backstory and he deserves some real happiness - whether that is with or without his fated mate, Elain.

Of course there are so many theories out there of not only what will happen in the series, but with Lucien, Elain, Azriel’s personal journeys. And I’m finding that I honestly don’t care who any of them end up with! I just want Lucien to have a good life. Plus, he’s a redhead (!!) with long hair (!!) which are personal weaknesses of mine.

Are you a fan of Lucien like I am?

Fourth Wing artwork gets me every time 😭😭 This was one of my first books getting back into romantasy, so it holds a different place in my heart.

I also read this book during a time in my life where I had to force myself to slow down. It helped keep my brain busy in those moments where I wanted to speed up.

I hope you enjoy this artwork just as much as I did!! 🤍
