Just because you settled something yesterday doesn’t mean it won’t be tested today.

We have to be intentional about walking with God daily, allowing His Word to shape our perspective instead of letting our emotions lead the way.

The frame we view our circumstances through shapes the way we respond to them. 🤍

When we let God define what we see, even the moments we don’t understand can reveal a greater purpose.

Don’t allow yourself to maintain your spiritual DIGNITY over your spiritual INTIMACY with God.

If you’re holding the frame, you might have the wrong view.

✨ SISTERHOOD RETREAT 2026 ✨ 🤍

In this season of becoming a mom, balancing my family, my faith, and everything God has called me to, I’ve realized how much pressure I put on myself.

This weekend, I surrendered…

🤍 Guilt — feeling guilty when I take time for myself and reminding myself that I can be a good mom and still make space for myself.

🤍 Comparison — measuring my life against others instead of trusting God’s unique plan for me.

🤍 Pride — feeling like I have to do everything on my own instead of fully depending on God.

🤍 Perfection — putting pressure on myself to be the perfect mom, wife, leader, and woman of God when I don’t have to get everything right to be enough.

🤍 Control — needing to have everything figured out instead of trusting God with what I can’t control.

We wrote on blank canvases the things we wanted to surrender and reframe. It reminded me that we can stop viewing ourselves through our own fears and expectations and start seeing ourselves through God’s truth.

I left this weekend with these things surrendered at His feet, a renewed perspective on how He sees me, new friendships, and an even deeper love for my girls. 🤍 So thankful for the laughs, the memories, the late-night conversations, and the friendships growing through our love for Jesus. 🫶🏼 God knew what He was doing when He brought this group of girls together, and I wouldn’t trade my sisterhood for anything! 🥹🤍✨

HALF TRUTHS ARE STILL LIES 🗣️

Pastor Carrie challenged us at Sisterhood Retreat to examine what we believe and allow God to reframe the way we see 🙌

What are you holding onto that God is calling into question?
