Dear choir, I’ve never had a space that is so dear to me, This is my family. I feel truly at home in this community and I wish I would have found it sooner. I didn’t truly connect with people in choir until this year, but now some of my best friends are in choir and they gave me confidence and the will to keep trying and be bold, that’s something I’ll keep with me forever. I truly feel so myself in a space where I can do what I love with so many people who have the same passion, with no judgment, because I truly think we all love each other, I wish we could all stay together forever, but that’s not how the world works, we have too move on. That’s going to be hard for me since this has been such a big part of most of my life. I’ve been in choir for like 10 years, and I never understood why my dad liked it so much, but seeing his choir perform at Mad fest made me realize because of the look on his face, he was so happy. The love and sense of pride that I get from making music with people I love truly impacts my soul. I am so glad I was forced into choir in third grade, or I don’t know who I would be today.

Day 3 Part 2!!!!

OKAY! This is when we went to universal! I genuinely had so much more fun here than yesterday. I screamed on so many rides and had so much more fun getting spooked and blasted with cool mist instead of disneys super busy rides. Extremely fun and I want to go back :(

I genuinely love my roommates so much both of them are so funny and delightful human beings. We spent majority of today laughing and even as I type this Rocio is laughing at me as I misspell my words.

I can’t wait for tomorrow to go to Disney Land and hang out with these wonderful people. Love you guys and see you tomorrow!
