We provided & served dinner to 100 men who have experienced homelessness last night.

Best part about serving at EVMC is interacting with the residents. These men were so grateful for the meal.

This is one of our favorite events.

We provided a cooling station for the homeless in Mesa today.

We handed out cooling towels, water bottles, sunscreen, food and more.

Everyone was so grateful for a little relief from the heat and food to eat.

Thanks to the volunteers that came and served AND to those who donated to our 1 TON Water Challenge or provided other supplies.

You helped make a difference today!

Our sweet Marty Ellison Owens entered the world as an angel on 4/23 at 5:26am. She was exactly 31 weeks old and the definition of perfection. Rainer, Florence & I are so proud of her, proud of the fight she put up and proud to always call her our daughter.

At our 20 week anatomy scan, we found out Marty was very sick. For the following 11 weeks, we carefully watched her condition as it worsened and prepared for something you can never prepare for. Carrying Marty to 31 weeks will always be the most special, sacred time of my life, despite how devastating it was knowing what the outcome would be. But Marty had her hand in every step of the way. Her presence was so peaceful and so pure. We will always, always cherish the 27 hours we had to hold her, care for her, kiss her and experience her in the hospital.

Pain and peace are coexisting right now and I don’t think that will ever change. Every bit of us aches. Every part of us needs her back. We’d give anything to see what the sisterhood would’ve been between Flo & Marty. But we don’t get that. Instead we get a personal angel who we will always yearn for & love so much on the other side of the veil. 🤍

We partnered with Backpacks 4 Kids & served over 200 families on Saturday. Thanks to all of you who donated, we were able to provide food, toys, stockings, blankets, crafts, and treats. ⁣
