I don’t have the appropriate words to describe this trip. Ice climbing in Alaska with my husband, and the best group of friends, for our 23rd anniversary?! Come on 🤯. The beauty of this place, the laughter, the camaraderie, the sense of adventure was priceless! We took the Alaskan Railroad from Anchorage to Whittier (was a gorgeous ride), Glacier Quest Cruise with Pillips Cruises & Tours @26glaciers (saw 10 glaciers, waterfalls, and wildlife) in Blackstone Bay and Passage Canal, Ice climbing and glacier hiking with MICA guides @micaguides (FAVORITE ACTIVITY) on the Matanuska Glacier, short hike to Thunderbird Falls and souvenir shopping, stopped to pan for gold with Crow Creek Gold Mine @crowcreekmine (cute place) and hike to the Exit Glacier on our drive from Anchorage to Seward, Seward Water Taxi ride (lots of wildlife and the awe inspiring Kenai Fjords & Resurrection Bay) then kayaking with Liquid Adventures @liquid_adventures to the Aialik Glacier (North wind was no joke but the seals everywhere were totally worth it), and a stop at the Alaska Sea Life Center @alaskasealifecenter before heading home. Not to mention the food, fun, and games throughout. This was probably a once in a lifetime trip and it wouldn’t have been the same without our friends.

What do you do one day when you and a friend have a crazy idea to start a podcast? You pray about it for about a week and decide to record a pilot episode in your car at the gym! Empower Her with Morgan & Erika brought many laughs, learning moments and opportunities to be in the room with so many women that inspire us! Definitely an unexpected blessing for the year! Thanks to all of you who encouraged us, joined in to listen, and came on as guests and shared your talent and authenticity with us! You made 2024 super special🫶! You can catch our last episode of ‘24 on Spotify, Amazon prime, or Apple Podcasts! #gadsdenalabama #podcasting
