This high-powered business woman came to us with a diagnosis of oral cancer in her lower left jaw, and an understanding that treatment would involve removing multiple teeth as well as bone.

She received the highest level of care working with our incredible interdisciplinary team at VCU Otolaryngology, Dr. Vickas Agarwal at Commonwealth Oral & Facial Surgery @commonwealthofs and the ever-talented Meliora Dental Studio @melioradentalstudio @carson.dt

We restored her smile with dental implants, and a fixed bridge that blends seamlessly with her natural teeth and gums. She was thrilled with the final result, and is ready to get back to business as usual.

The reason I called this a 360° veneer and not a crown is because I am bonding the porcelain not cementing. If I’m cementing? I call it a crown. Semantics for the nerds out there.

What does MiYO® Master Amanda Carson love most about MiYO® Liquid Ceramic?
“I appreciate how the material’s unique color system makes it easy to mix precise custom shades for each case. During the final stages of a restoration, I can effortlessly reintroduce surface texture using structure paste, achieving a natural and lifelike finish. I also love how the material functions as a liquid ceramic, enabling light transmission comparable to traditional powder ceramics. This method allows monolithic restorations to have exceptional depth and vitality—without requiring a traditional porcelain build-up.”
