I am grateful to announce that I have committed to continuing my athletic and academic career at Carson-Newman University!

I’d like to thank my parents for their endless support and the sacrifices they’ve made to help me pursue this goal. I’d also like to thank my brother, Hayden, for being a great role model and showing me what it means to be disciplined and dedicated to the process.

Thank you to my teammates for pushing me on the field and in the weight room, regardless of the circumstances.

Thank you to Coach Richardson for believing in me, both as a man and as a baseball player.

Finally, thank you to Coach Griff, Coach Krob and the entire Carson Newman staff for this opportunity, let’s work!

TALONS UP! 🦅

I am extremely proud and blessed to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Carson-Newman University!
First and foremost, I want to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. None of this would be possible without Him, and I am grateful for all the blessings He has given me.
I want to thank my grandparents for everything they have done for me throughout the years. From taking me to practices and tournaments to supporting me through the ups and downs, they have helped make this dream a reality.
I also want to thank my mom. She is a huge reason why I fell in love with baseball, and even though she isn’t here to see this moment, I know she would be proud. I will always carry the memories we made together with me.
I want to thank Coach Alex, Coach Steve, Coach Ryan, and Coach Burrows for believing in me, supporting me, and helping me become the person and player I am today. I am truly grateful for everything you have done for me throughout this journey.
I also want to thank Coach Griffin, Coach Krob, Coach Stuart, and Coach Babcock for giving me this opportunity to continue my academic and athletic career at Carson-Newman. I appreciate you believing in me and giving me the chance to be part of this program.
This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Go Eagles! #talonsup

Congratulations to Luke Gantt on his commitment to Carson-Newman University!

I’ve had the opportunity to coach Luke since his sophomore year, and it’s been awesome watching the progress he’s made over that time. He’s continued to work, develop, and become a better player year after year. It’s great to see that work earn him the opportunity to continue his academic and baseball career at the next level.

I am extremely excited and blessed to announce my commitment to continue my baseball career at Carson-Newman University!! 🦅⚾️

First and foremost, I would like to thank the man above, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Without Him, none of this would ever be possible, and I am beyond grateful for the opportunities He has given me throughout this journey.

I would also like to thank my FAMILY, FRIENDS, and COACHES who have supported me and believed in me every step of the way. I truly would not be where I am today without each and every one of you.

A special thank you to Coach Roberts, Coach Griff, Coach Krob, and the entire Carson-Newman coaching staff for believing in me, welcoming my family, and giving me the opportunity to continue playing the game I love at such a special place. I am incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I cannot wait to get to work.

I am beyond excited for this next chapter and to continue growing in my faith, both on and off the field, while becoming the best player and person I can be.
