January 1, 2026, six months ago today, I was approved for a heart transplant and placed on life support. I went into cardiogenic shock, and my heart was functioning at 10%. After 8 days of fighting for my life in the CICU, 6 days in the cardiac unit, and 12 days learning to walk again in rehabilitation, God gave me a second chance at life. With my own heart.

Endlessly grateful for the doctors @cedarssinai and therapists at Cal Rehab who fought alongside me and changed my life forever.

Congratulations to @carson_etnire on being selected to the 2026 All-OC Baseball Second team! As well as being All league in both Football and Baseball, Carson was also selected to the OC All Star this Fall with @aliso_football.
