A love letter to College Station and Texas A&M-
4.5 years ago, I stepped into this place with fear of the unknown — and somehow it gave me more than I ever knew to ask for. College Station became home, and A&M has become part of who I am.
Here, I learned how to be independent, how to trust myself, and how to keep going even when things felt heavy. I learned life lessons that didn’t come from the classroom — how to love people deeply, how to love myself honestly, and how to grow through seasons I never anticipated or could have prepared myself for.
Along the way came countless blessings: friendships that changed my life, Saturdays spent at football games, too many Northgate nights to count, prayers answered in both quiet and obvious ways, belly laughs I’ll never forget, and the moment I earned my Aggie ring — a reminder of every late night, every doubt, every victory.
And then somehow after everything what feels like it happened so slow, yet arrived so quickly… I am now an alum.
Thank you, A&M, for the memories, the people, the growth, and the version of myself I’m walking away with. I’ll carry this place, these years, and this love with me forever. Thanks, and Gig ’em. 🤍👍🏼
