Been waiting all year for this🌅

I took my final bow and left everything on the stage last weekend. Saying goodbye to the thing that has made me the happiest for the past 15 years was hard. I will miss all the late Thursday nights and early Saturday mornings full of not only dancing but everything else.

Thank you to my friends for always finding a way to make me laugh. Thank you for all the sleepovers and Taco Bell runs. I will cherish those memories forever. Thank you Katelyn and Abi for being my closest friends this year and thank you to all my other friends that came back to watch my final recital.

Thank you to my coaches for always supporting me and challenging me. Thank you for teaching me some of the hardest life lessons and being there for me when times got really difficult. Thank you for being my village!

And finally thank you to my family! Thank yall for always coming to watch my dances and loving me to the fullest. Thank you mom and dad for believing in me and encouraging me to find what makes me happy. I love yall!

It’s hard to imagine life without long Thursday night rehearsals, competition weekends in the winter, and spending so much time with the people who have become family. Dance has shaped me into who I am, given me some of my favorite memories, and introduced me to some of the most incredible people.

To my coaches, thank you for pouring so much love, time, patience, and wisdom into me over the years. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me to be better, and reminding me why I fell in love with dance in the first place.

To my family, thank you for every ride, every late night, every competition, and every sacrifice you made so I could do what I love.

And to my dance family, thank you for every laugh, every hug, every memory, and every moment we’ve shared. I love each of you more than words can say.

This chapter may be ending, but the impact you’ve all had on my life never will. Forever grateful. 🩷🩷🩷

I’ve been putting off making this post, because I knew once I did… it would mean it’s really over.

13 years of dance, and somehow it still doesn’t feel like enough time.

Looking back, I can see how every step, every early morning, every moment on a stage/field/court has shaped me into who I am today. The past 4 years with this team have been some of the most meaningful, challenging, and unforgettable years of my life. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity in college to do what I have always loved most. There were days I felt exhausted, discouraged, and unsure, but God never let me walk through any of it alone. He gave me the strength when I felt weak, the confidence when I doubted myself, and the people who became some of my very best friends. I know every moment was part of His plan, and I’m so grateful He placed dance in my life for this season.

I’m honestly heartbroken to be closing this chapter. Dance has been such a huge part of who I am for so so long, and it’s so hard to say goodbye and imagine life without it in the same way. I would give anything for just one more practice or chance to dance with my girls. Its really does go by so fast.

To my @whitneyyyyb , there aren’t enough words to thank you for everything you’ve poured into me. Thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself, for pushing me past my limits, and for never letting me settle for less than my best. You’ve not only made me a better dancer, but a stronger, more confident person, and I’ll carry everything you’ve taught me far beyond dance. I’m so grateful for you always.🤍

And of course to @laurenvvincent , thank you for continuously pouring into this team and for always being one of our biggest cheerleaders. I am forever grateful to have been able to learn from you, and know you.

To the best team @ucadanceteam , you are my heart. Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the experiences, and the love I’ll carry with me forever.

Closing this chapter is harder than I ever imagined, but I’ll always be thankful for the girl dance made me and the faith that carried me through it all.

Daytona Year 3!!!🐻👏🏻💜🤗

Every year becomes so meaningful for me in so many ways! Words can hardly express how proud and honored I am to represent something so special, all while being surrounded by the people I love most! Watching our hard work come to fruition is a feeling like no other, and I’m endlessly grateful to be part of it.
To these girls, our coaches, and everyone who pours into us, you are what make every bit of the journey worth it. No amount of thank-you’s could ever be enough. History was made again, and my heart is so full. The love I have for this program runs deeper than I can say.
