It was an incredible experience serving as head coach for the Norwell Knights these past two years.

There were a lot of small wins that most people will never see, and those mattered. Growth as wrestlers, and even more importantly as young men, was always the mission. I’m proud of the progress made in that area.

This journey came with more adversity than I expected. A lot of lessons, a lot of pressure, and a lot of moments that tested leadership in ways you can’t prepare for. Still, I choose to look at it through one lens and three words… “what an opportunity…” An opportunity to lead, to learn, and to grow alongside these athletes through both the highs and the storms.

At this point in my life, my priorities have shifted. With my son Bailey James now here, it’s a season to be more present at home and build my family. Coaching at that level requires a level of time and energy that I’m not willing to take away from that right now.

I also believe deeply in doing what’s right for the athletes, and I trust that moving forward, the program will be led in a way that supports their growth and consistency.

To the wrestlers… keep showing up, keep working, keep becoming. Score points and have fun. You will always get what you’re committed to, and you’ll also feel what you’re not.

I’m grateful for every moment, every challenge, and every relationship built along the way.

Wishing nothing but the best for the Norwell Knights. It was an honor to be part of your journey 💪🤝🙏
