Catching up with Carter Hoffman! 🎙️⚾️

Carter pitched for Blacksox program last summer, preparing for the opportunity to play at the next level.

Now a Left-Handed Pitcher at Texas Tech, Carter sits down with us to reflect on his time with the Blacksox, the experience at Texas Tech, and how his experience in and against the program helped prepare him for college baseball.

Now a LHP up to 93mph. We are proud of Carter and excited to see what the future holds for him!

As my final season playing the sport I love comes to an end, it’s safe to say I probably touched more foul poles than baseballs. Jokes aside, there’s no other group of guys I would’ve rather spent it with. To my fellow seniors, I hope I was a good friend, and to the younger guys, I hope I was a good role model. I’ll cherish these memories for the rest of my life.

😤He’s a fierce competitor. Carter Hoffman (@carter2hoffman) had a shove day at the @fivetooltexas #DFWFallWoodBatWS striking out 10 in 5 shutout innings. The LHP topped 90 MPH working two breaking balls with a curveball at 72-74 MPH and slider at 75-77 MPH. One of the top uncommitted southpaws in the state of Texas. • 5-11, 170 lbs. • @wowfactor_northtexas • Memorial (TX) 2026 #uncommitted #DudeAlert #Baseball
