After ten years, the end feels unreal, like something that wasn’t supposed to come so soon. This sport has been such a huge part of my life, and it’s hard to imagine not showing up to practices, competitions, and everything in between. I’m really going to miss the routine, the memories, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than myself. More than anything, I’ll miss the people who have always believed in me and pushed me to be better, and my best friends who made every moment more fun and unforgettable. They’ve all been my biggest supporters through every high and low, and I wouldn’t be the same athlete or person without them. Even though this chapter is ending, everything they’ve taught me and all the memories we’ve made are things I’ll carry with me forever. This season has taught me so much and i will be forever grateful for all the reps, hard full outs, and long weekend practices.
