Still cannot believe I get to say this… I WAS ON THE FINALE OF @hgtv TOTALLY 90’S HOUSE! 📺🎈🤯

And this was easily one of the hardest setups I’ve ever done.

Set it up. Take it down. Then set the entire thing back up AGAIN… quickly. Oh, and it was 104 degrees with the sun absolutely beating down on us. 🥵 The poles were so hot we had to wrap them in cooling towels to keep the balloons from popping.

I was basically staring at hundreds of balloons, praying they would survive until the sun went down. 😂 I even set a timer to see how long we had before they started popping. Talk about STRESS.

But they held. It worked. AND I DID IT. 🙌🏼

I had @sbroderick88 helping me in the beginning, and then she went home to take care of my kids because she is THE BEST, which meant I finished this monster on my own with the help from @travisjonesdesign @codycrawfish @cecilybobecily ❤️.

And damn, I’m proud of myself. 🥹

My balloons were on HGTV. On the finale of Totally 90’s House.

@hgtv Totally 90s House season finale! What an interesting ride this show took me on. It started off strong having the fun challenge for counter tops. Then Melissa left the show and it felt like another home renovation show. Only 90s stars are involved. Overall the homes turned out beautifully and I like the homeowners were thrilled. Seeing guest judge @realpaigedavis was so fun! I loved watching her on Trading Spaces when I was growing up. Team Curtains won the formal living/dining room challenge adding $1,000 for their charity. But Team Mauve was the overall champ giving @habitatforhumanity a $20,000 donation! 🎉 Loved seeing the homeowners reactions to their newly renovated homes. I was teary eyed through the whole reveal 🥹 #totally90shouse #recap #realitytv #competition #homereno

I don’t even know how to put this feeling into words. 😭🎈📺

Tonight, my balloons made their FIRST TV APPEARANCE on @hgtv Totally 90’s House.

Like… WHAT?! 🤯

In May 2024, I was fighting for my life in the cardiac ICU after a complication during my hysterectomy. I had no idea what life was going to look like after that. I was just trying to survive, and then trying to figure out how to live again after something so traumatic.

In April 2025, I started making balloons as a way to heal. I was struggling with PTSD from my surgery and desperately needed something that made me feel like ME again. I started from absolutely nothing. I gave away arches for free just so I could practice, create, keep my mind busy and find a little bit of joy again.

I never had some huge business plan, or any plan.

I was just trying to heal, trying to feel.

And somehow, those balloons became Abigail’s Blooms and Balloons.

Fast forward to September 30, 2026, and this little business I built from scratch just made its FIRST TELEVISION APPEARANCE ON @hgtv . 😭

Shock is an understatement.

Sometimes I genuinely cannot believe how far I have come. From fighting for my life in a cardiac ICU to watching something I created with my own two hands appear on television.

What is this life?!

And @travisjonesdesign … I don’t think I will ever be able to thank you enough.

You believed in me when I wasn’t even sure I believed in myself. You took a HUGE risk hiring this little balloon business and trusting me with something this big. You saw something in me and my work, and because of you, one of my wildest dreams came true.

I will never forget your kindness. I will never forget your talent. And I will never forget what you did for me and my business.

Forever, forever grateful. ❤️

I started making balloons because I needed to prove to myself that after everything I had been through, I could bloom again.

I think it’s safe to say…
I BLOOMED. 😭🎈📺

From the cardiac ICU to HGTV.

Still in shock. Still crying. Still pinching myself.
But mostly, just so incredibly grateful. ❤️
